    Benefits of Isokinetic Excerise

    Our Leaper provides fast speed resistance safely and as fast as one can work. We also measure with our LCD's, one's total work through the full range of motion for any number of reps with our LCD readouts. Our automatic isokinetic resistance develops little to no muscle soreness. One may vary the speed of the from slow to fast or vice versa. On average, most athletes do 30 squats in 25-30 seconds with our fast speeds, and push 1000 lbs in the last couple inches of that exercise (something impossible with weights). Many basketball and girls volleyball players report gains of 4 to 12 inches in their vertical jump in just a matter of weeks. Everyone jumps higher, runs faster and jumps quicker for rebounding and spiking with our fast speed resistive exercise.

    What is Isokinetic Exercise? The Leaper Home Gym Equipment

    Isokinetic Leaper exercise equipment develops fast-twitch muscle fibers. This results in jumping higher, running faster, and increasing overall explosiveness. The key to our fast but safe workouts with our power training equipment is our unique isokinetic positive (concentric) resistance mechanism.

    With the Leaper we have virtually eliminated the negative (eccentric) resistance allowing an athlete to do 30 positive accommodating isokinetic resistance power squat reps in 30 seconds. This would be dangerous and impossible with traditional weight training.

    The Isokinetic Home Leaper allows athletes to train fast to become fast with more explosiveness. Only with our Leaper athletes do 25-30 reps, do it in 30 seconds, get the exact amount of resistance they exert, automatically and with every rep as they fatigue, and do it safely, without the usual sore muscles resulting, do the training in less time. All athletes need to develop their white quick twitch muscle fibers and our Leapers excel with speed resistance training that is not possible with the usual weight training.

    Jump Higher with the Leaper

    The Leaper is ideal for home or team training. Our isokinetic resistance permits fast speed training promoting the development of fast-twitch muscle fibers that aren’t possible with typical weight training. This develops the explosiveness needed for jumping higher, quickness, and speed for all sports. Athletes get maximum resistance at every point with their range of motion and every rep.

    As the athletes fatigue, they will continue to get maximum resistance based off the amount of effort they exert. We recommend 3 days of fast speed training — 30 reps within 30 seconds. Once a week, turn the speed controlled governor to slow speed so the athletes can only achieve 18 to 20 reps within their 30 second work out. This helps maintain their strength for their games.
